After you contact us, we go to work immediately to determine if solar is right for you.
We ask you to provide us with:
- Electrical usage in kWh for at least 12 billing periods
- A description of your roof preferably South facing East or West acceptable
- A description of your roofing material, condition and age
- A description of your current electrical service
- If you would like to zero out or reduce your cost of electricity
Next, your salesperson will provide you with:
- A comprehensive recommendation of which size solar system is right for your situation.
- A price quotation that includes all equipment, installation, and amount of rebate available through your utility company.
- A financial analysis of return on investment for your system, including any tax credits or incentives available to you.
- Preliminary price quote for two sizes of systems
- Building permit fees vary we pay up to $500.00 we will try to let you know about your city.
If the cost and electric bill savings meet your expectations, we will schedule a site visit.
Contract Signing, Procurement, and Installation Scheduling:
When you have made a decision to proceed with a solar installation on your home the next steps are:
- Sign our installation contract and provide us with a deposit.
- Purchase your equipment and sign contracts with deposit.
- Our solar experts will submit your application to the appropriate utility company, qualifying you for the maximum rebate.
- Your salesperson will procure a building permit.
- We generally get your system installed within 60–90 days from the time you sign the contract.
- If you are building a new home, our solar technician will need additional information. We will apply for a CEC rebate after your building permit is approved.
Installation of your Solar System:
Our professional installers will typically install your complete system in 2–4 days.
- Payment is due the day the PV modules are delivered. The balance is due upon completion of the installation. We will collect the rebate on your behalf so you won’t be responsible for any income tax. You only pay us the after-rebate price, without waiting for the rebate.
- Upon completion and payment, PG&E or the local utility will install a new meter when necessary
